ISO 17025 – Testing and Calibration Laboratories
The ISO 17025 standard was developed specifically for testing and calibration laboratories and is formerly known as ISO 9002 Guide 25. ISO 17025 provides the general requirements with which a laboratory has to demonstrate that it operates under for ISO certification.
ISO 17025 certification is mandatory for some contracts, and if a testing and calibration laboratory complies with ISO 17025, it also operates in accordance with ISO 9001.
