E-Consulting
The Simons-White e-consulting package is geared towards providing customized assistance to companies or groups wishing to update their current Performance Management System. As companies have become aware of the need to use data to manage and direct organizational performance, they have realized that it is more than having an efficient system of data collection. We understand the challenges and can customize an approach that deals with selecting the right type of data in a manner that can be used to drive desired results.
We define a Performance Management System as a methodology designed to provide a structured and consistent approach to improving and sustaining business results across the organization or within a specific business unit or group. In other words, performance management ensures that the use of data works to assist in achieving strategic goals. Together with you we will identify the gaps in your current system, establish a plan to close those gaps and work with you to provide the necessary coaching to enhance the overall performance of the group.
In order to provide an effective e-consulting solution the following components are required:
Information Gathering
A self-evaluation can be performed for an entire organization, a business unit or a group of individuals working in a specific area. You will be required to:
- Have a manager or sponsor for the project
- Provide basic information about the organization, business unit or group
- Identify challenges with your current Performance Management System
- Respond to the questions on the assessment regarding the components of your Performance Management System
- Identify some goals and objectives for the project
This information will be completed on line and sent to us allowing us to prepare for the project.
Customized Webinar
Once information is reviewed, we will develop a customized one-hour webinar designed to address points identified in the assessment. The last fifteen minutes of the webinar will be geared towards answering specific questions and discussing the implementation plan that you will need to update your Performance Management System. You will be required to identify tasks and individuals responsible for completing these tasks. A proposed timeline will be developed between your organization and our consultants outlining milestones and review points.
Implementation
Based on the implementation plan and discussions with the group, one-hour weekly webinars will be arranged to provide coaching and consulting assistance for upgrading the Performance Management System. You will be required to complete assignments each week and submit them before the weekly webinar. The sessions will be customized and will address issues or concerns based on the assignments or difficulties encountered during the implementation of tasks assigned. For planning purposes you will be able to estimate and schedule the number of coaching sessions you require. Sessions will be offered at a set time each week.
Reporting
A customized monthly report will be submitted to your manager or sponsor, summarizing the tasks implemented, the challenges experienced and the changes required going forward. In addition, the timeline will be updated and a feedback given on the proposed completion date.
On-site-Visits (optional)
At any point during this process an on-site visit can be scheduled at additional cost to support the e-consulting model. These visits will be determined based on your needs, the size of your organization or group, and the overall goals for implementation. On a site visit, the consultant will review reports and measurements and provide the necessary guidance on your performance management system. At the end of the site visit, you will receive a report on recommendations
