Customized Facilitation
Performance Management moves away from considering only the performance of employees to a focus on the total organization, the metrics used to evaluate results, the review process, the actions taken to respond to poor performance and the alignment of all activities. Companies, who may have areas where they have experienced difficulties implementing a performance management system, may need a customized facilitation. This enables the development of a hands-on structure that will fit with the rest of the organization in a short period of time.
Purpose
To facilitate the development and deployment of metrics in a particular area that needs to be aligned with the strategy of the company.
Method
A group of individuals will be selected by the company. Customized facilitation will take place over a period of four days done in two parts.
Part 1 will involve:
- Review of corporate metrics
- Develop and define the metrics that are relevant to the particular area
- Outline the structure for deploying the metrics to various levels
- Establish a system for review and evaluation
Part 2 will:
- Evaluate the metrics that were collected
- Assess the reliability of the data
- Diagnose performance issues
- Identify activities needed to respond to the data
Part 2 will take place after a period of one month, allowing the team to implement the initial steps towards performance management
Outcome
This approach of customized facilitation enables a team to quickly get started on effectively using a performance management system. In addition, the team will get unlimited online access to continual support during the implementation process
